Sabaya is the performing level class in the Scimitar School of Dance. Members of SDC also dance with Sabaya.

Shazia has an amazing history of dance, gymnastics, and theater and has combined all of her talents into her explosive style of traditional cabaret belly dance. She has performed throughout the Western United States. She is a strong and confident teacher and her students always have fun, whether in class, in rehearsal, or on the stage. Shazia's choreographies are like no one else's and she is adept at dancing to live music and bringing to it a sparkling quality.
